Project Overview

The rail over bridge falls on NH 60 in the city of Bishnupur. The purpose of the ROB is to ensure free and safer movement of traffic on the highway by eliminating the level crossing.

The total length of project is 2.3 Kms, inclduing 375m elevated viaduct with ROB. The project features typical 25m span prestressed I girder superstructure in straight portions and solid slab superstructure in highly curved portions with 80.0m radius in approach portions. The ROB is bowstring type with 63.5m span. The deck with of ROB is 16.0m with both side footpath and the deck width of approaches is 12.0m catering to 3 lanes of traffic.
